Arranging your training at The Canadian Flight Academy is easy however there are regulations which must be adhered to if you will be studying with us in Canada.
Since you will be visiting and studying in Canada you should posess the following documents:
The time that is necessary to properly process a Student
Authorization application does vary from post to post depending
on the amount of work the particular post encounters.
The Ministry of External Affairs often requests that these
applications are submitted to the Ministry well in advance of the
beginning of the course.
Once in Canada you will be directed to Immigration Canada to have
your passport stamped and your Student Authorization
completed.
You will be escorted by a Canadian Flight Academy
representative from Pearson International Airport and driven to
your local accomodations. After the course has been completed,
you will be escorted back to the airport prior to your trip home.
You may also apply, while in Canada, to change or cancel your
terms of admission by visiting the local Canada
Immigration Centre. This will give you an opportunity to extend
your Student Authorization should you require more time to
complete your course.
We strongly advise that you attain some form of health
insurance such as "Blue Cross" or a form of health
insurance from your own country which will cover any emergency
medical expenses while abroad. This is an extra, but sometimes
useful, expense that you will not regret.
